New Markets Advisory Board
Advantage Capital Partners works with a national advisory board of Low-Income Community (LIC) residents and representatives to identify and finance promising LIC entrepreneurs who are not adequately served by traditional capital providers.
We rely on this advisory board to provide feedback from the communities its members represent, ensuring that our New Markets investment strategy remains responsive to the needs of LIC areas and their residents. We specifically selected advisory board members who have jobs and official positions (elected office, social service advocates) that afford them natural opportunities to facilitate this type of feedback. In addition, because of the board members’ positions, they often can help coordinate investment activities with other economic development initiatives, both public and private, at the local, state and national levels.
