WEST MONROE, La., (KNOE 8 News) – Two Louisiana companies are being recognized today in Washington, one of those from West Monroe.

The recognition is for the companies’ success as rural manufacturing enterprises, and is being held at the White House, Eisenhower Executive Office Building.

The two companies are Rogers Manufacturing of West Monroe, which manufactures roof and floor trusses and Game Equipment of Napoleonville, which produces crucial machinery and service for some of the largest agriculture companies in the world.

Along with the two companies, their respective financial institutions are also being recognized, Centric Federal Credit Union with Rogers Manufacturing, and Advantage Capital with Game Equipment.

The success of the organizations was aided by support from USDA Rural Development, which has more than a dozen loan and grant programs to help rural businesses and communities create jobs. The organizations have made strides in strengthening the nation’s manufacturing capabilities. Their contributions are being highlighted for other organizations to replicate their success.
