Raymond M. Wagner joined Advantage Capital Partners in 2009. As a member of the firm’s investment group, he is responsible for providing due diligence, underwriting and valuation analysis of the firm’s prospective investments across the United States. Additionally, he actively monitors numerous companies within the firm’s current investment portfolio. In his tenure with the firm, Mr. Wagner has been involved with numerous transactions totaling more than $150 million, all of which were provided to businesses located in low-income communities.
Prior to joining Advantage Capital, Mr. Wagner served as an associate at R.L. Hulett & Company, Inc., a St. Louis-based middle-market investment banking firm, where he provided merger and acquisition, strategic consulting, business valuation, and finance-sourcing services to companies with annual revenues ranging from $5 to $200 million.
Mr. Wagner is a graduate of the John M. Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis, where he majored in finance, managerial economics and strategy, and entrepreneurship. He is an Eagle Scout and a volunteer with Our Little Haven, a non-profit organization that serves children recovering from abuse or neglect. In 2012 he was recognized by the St. Louis Business Journal with a “30 under 30” award for significant professional accomplishment and meaningful community involvement.
