Thomas BomanThomas A. Boman, who joined Advantage Capital Partners in 2000, is responsible for tax-efficient structuring of portfolio investments and consultation with investors and portfolio companies regarding tax reporting issues. He is also responsible for the income tax reporting for all Advantage Capital affiliates.

Mr. Boman has over 30 years of experience, primarily as a tax consultant with Big Four accounting firms. Prior to joining Advantage Capital, he was a senior manager with the St. Louis office of PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he provided tax-consulting services to a variety of companies, focusing primarily on partnerships.

Mr. Boman serves as an adjunct instructor at the School of Law at Washington University in St. Louis, teaching partnership taxation. He also serves as an adjunct instructor at Washington University’s Olin School of Business, where he teaches a course on taxes and business strategy. He is a former member of the Partnership Tax Committee of the AICPA.

Mr. Boman received both his J.D. and master’s degree in business taxation from the University of Minnesota, and a bachelor’s degree from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota.
