Timothy G. Cockshutt
Timothy G. Cockshutt joined Advantage Capital Partners in 1998. At the firm, his responsibilities include assessing investment opportunities, evaluating and structuring transactions, and managing existing portfolio relationships in Texas, New York and Florida.
Mr. Cockshutt has 23 years of experience with institutional funds involved in venture capital, private equity, and micro-cap investing. Prior to joining Advantage Capital, he was a portfolio analyst at Meridian Advisors, Ltd., a micro-cap hedge fund; a senior associate at Ventex Partners, an SBIC; and an associate at Criterion Venture Partners, a venture capital firm that managed three institutional partnerships.
Mr. Cockshutt earned an M.B.A. degree from Rice University. He also received a bachelor’s degree in geology from King’s College, University of London, and a bachelor’s degree in English and philosophy from Amherst College.
