Bowen Homes Phase I is the planned new construction of a 151-unit mixed-income property located in Atlanta, Ga. The development is part of HUD’s Choice Neighborhood Initiative Grant awarded to the Housing Authority of the City of Atlanta. McCormack Baron Salazar and The Benoit Group were selected as the joint venture development team.
The Bowen Choice Neighborhood Housing masterplan covers approximately 22 acres on the eastern portion of the vacant Bowen Homes public housing site. Once completed, the community will target households earning up to 30% to 60% of area median income and will also offer workforce housing and unrestricted units.
