Students can expect to have a fun and rewarding summer completing an internship at Advantage Capital.
Onboarding and Orientation
Interns will participate in a two-day orientation to introduce the intern to Advantage Capital and the summer internship program. Orientation will consist of a welcome from our senior leadership team, team introductions and tours, coordinated meetings with your supervisor and mentor, and overview of your first projects, training videos, and much more!
Each intern will be paired with a mentor that will provide support and advice throughout the internship. Mentors do not evaluate intern performance, and therefore serve as a resource for the intern without having to think about performance review. Our Mentors will serve at the intern’s “buddy” on their first day and will regularly connect with them throughout the summer.
Intern Week of Service
Advantage Capital values employee work in the office, as well as within the community. During our Week of Service, our interns will have opportunities to support our communities by participating in local volunteer efforts.
Professional Growth and Networking
Intern development is a top priority in the Advantage Capital Internship Program, much of which will be gained by coordinated networking events and educational sessions. Interns will have regular opportunities to enhance their skills, build upon their leadership competencies and expand their personal networks throughout their summer.
As an intern, it is our intent for you to grow and develop personally and professionally. A part of this includes performance management and feedback. Interns will have frequent conversations with their support team, as well as a final performance evaluation.

Our application window opens mid-September and closes late November for our Spring/Summer 2022 internship opportunities. A member of our HR team will review your application and reach out to you should you be considered for an interview. Our interview process includes a one-way video interview, and an interview with members of the Advantage Capital team. Some internship positions include additional assessments and writing samples which we will request as needed. Interns will need to successfully pass a criminal history background check prior to beginning employment with Advantage Capital.
