Friendship Court Phase II is part of a four-phase planned development aimed at revitalizing Friendship Court, a 44-year-old community in Charlottesville, Va., into a new community called Kindlewood.
Phase II will consist of a one-for-one replacement of 54 existing units as well as the construction of 46 additional affordable units for a total of 100 family units, serving households earning up to 30% to 80% of area median income. The development will also include construction of a Community Resource Center, which will contain an early childhood center and other nonprofit community resources.
