Principal
Emily Rose
Emily Rose is a principal on the renewables financing team at Advantage Capital, where she brings subject matter and operational expertise to support strategic initiatives and execute renewable energy investments. Her responsibilities include originating and structuring transactions, engaging with investors, and contributing to team development, with a focus on delivering solutions with measurable impact.
Prior to joining Advantage Capital, Emily most recently served as an advisor to Global 1000 companies in the sustainability and tax credit investment industry. Additionally, she has held positions at AARP The Magazine, U.S. Bank, where she worked for 15 years in tax equity, and Schneider Electric, where she was a corporate tax credit investing advisor. During her time at U.S. Bank, she served as senior vice president and director of a team of 60, overseeing billions in new and existing investments and tens of millions of annual fee income. While at Schneider, she raised more than $1.7 billion in new corporate liquidity from tax credit investors, primarily through transfers.
She has spent her career in public-private partnerships, assisting investors and developments by leveraging incentives to stretch capital stacks and achieve public policy goals. She also has experience structuring and investing in financing facilities designed to maximize return by minimizing operational risk. She has been responsible for closing investments ranging from $3 million to more than $500 million, as well as leading teams of closers, asset managers and portfolio servicing agents.
Emily received a J.D. in urban development, land use and transactional law from Saint Louis University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in comparative literature from Loyola University.
