Ryan Dressler is a managing director on the legislative team at Advantage Capital. With more than 15 years of tax, finance, economic development and early-stage capital formation policy experience, he has led successful advocacy efforts across the country generating more than $500 million of private investment for entrepreneurs in underserved geographies, demographics and industries. He also leads the talent and HR team, overseeing talent strategy, organizational development and internal operations for the firm.
Prior to joining Advantage Capital, Ryan was the director of new site development for a national nonprofit leadership organization. He remains involved with the organization, having directly trained thousands of students and young professionals in public speaking, sales, recruitment and leadership. He is a regular speaker at national conferences and seminars.
Ryan received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. He has also completed executive education programs at the University of Richmond Robins School of Business and the University of Oxford Saïd Business School.
